The Oktoberfest Committee and the Tower organization would like to thank you for your support of the 2004 Oktoberfest. Dedication and teamwork of the volunteers along with the support of many organizations and businesses throughout the years made it possible for the Oktoberfest to present to our community a first-rate festival.

The festival was supported financially by vender fees, entrance fees, and sponsorships with no financial support from tax payer monies. We survived cold and rain the first year of our move to the LaPorte County Fair Grounds. 2004 gave us hot and sunny weather without the attendance that was needed to recoup our financial loss. We regretfully inform you after twenty-nine years, the Oktoberfest made its final appearance in 2004.

Profits from the Oktoberfest financed the Student Educational Support Grants and the Student Scholarship. The Tower Organization would like to continue the 8K Run and consider new ideas or events to be able to continue the goal of aiding local teachers and their students with educational needs.

Your generous support has been greatly appreciated. Some of you have been with us for years, and to you we extend a special thank you for your loyalty. It has been a pleasure working with you.
