The Races

8K Run (Competitive)
The course starts in Washington Park and heads through Fedder’s Alley where you’ll make your way to the beautiful shoreline and sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. After mile 1 you’ll run across a boardwalk into the Beachwalk Resort Community where you’ll circle Lake Kai to reach mile 2. Upon exiting the Beachwalk Resort Community you’ll head down scenic Lakeshore Drive to mile 3, climb to the historic WPA Tower and roll back down before reaching mile 4. Mile 5 will take you past several landmarks of Michigan City, including the historic Washington Park Band Shell, the Millennium Park Water Fountain and the Old Lighthouse Museum. The final stretch takes you along the Washington Park Marina to the finish.
