Why Volunteer
The Tower Run committee is looking for dedicated volunteers to help with pre-race planning and on race day activities. This is a great way to get involved in your community, support education, meet new people and have some fun! It will be an exciting experience and one you can be proud of. As a volunteer you will be able to say you were a part of the first ever Michigan City Eco-Fit Challenge, a one of a kind event in the world! All volunteers will receive a FREE Tower Run t-shirt.

The Tower Run committee is proud to offer teachers the opportunity to create a Service Learning Project for their students. Projects can be created that meet the specific needs of your students. Below are some examples.
- Participate in the Fundraising Program and donate the money you raise to a local charity.
- In addition to #1 create a Cheer Block to represent that charity during the race.
- A business class can work with the sponsorship committee to solicit donations and sponsors.
- An art class can create motivational signs to display along the course.
- A photography class or club can take photos of participants during the race.
- A public relations or marketing class can help with event advertising.
- Create your own project!
